Today Evie became a water sprite - a fairy of the element in which she was born. She struck out bravely with her tiny pink fairy water wings keeping her afloat. She kicked her spritely legs her brow furrowed in deep concentration as she braved the depths of the water blue.
And like the family from which she sprung she fought on and persevered. Although at times she clung to the ledge - never did she let it completely deter her. Just as her family has clung before - she struck out once again to brave the depths and succeed triumphantly. May many lessons come from one so little - toss a Gilligan into the water and we will learn to swim.
